Sick Baby.... He stopped breathing....

Sunday night by sweet boy Mason started to get a cough, poor baby, and by Monday morning he was so stopped up that he would spit his milk out when he ate because he couldn't breathe. :(

I called into work and told them that I wouldn't be coming in because Mason was sick. And what do you know, right when I hung up the phone he gave me a BIG grin!!! I said boy if your starting that now, I don't want to know what your going to be like when you start school and REALLY play sick!! haha!!! He wasn't playing though, he really did feel bad.

Mason isn't the type of baby to just lay around and be lazy, he wants you to talk to him and play with him, he just get bored to easy... BUT, the past two days he will just lay there and look around with spaced out eyes because he is so wore out from being sick, poor baby!!!

Anywho, I took him to the doctor Monday and they gave me some meds. to give him for his cold and told me to bring him back if his fever got really high or if he got worse. Well Monday night he got REALLY bad, I mean you couldn't suck out enough snot (sorry..lol) for him to be able to breathe... it was never ending.... and because of that he stopped breathing on me twice!!!!!!!!!!! I was actually really calm and just shook him (not hard) and blew in his face and said "breathe baby breathe". He started screaming and I was SOOOOO relieved!!! For a mom to see that, ah, you go into extreme mommy mode I guess and it's just a reaction to make them breathe... it was scary!!!

Needless to say, I didn't get any sleep that night and he slept on my chest while I sat on the couch and watched him!!! So Tuesday he starts running a really high fever and starts to throw up... I bring him to the doctor and he gives him antibiotics and says that he has a really bad sinus infection because his flu test came back negative!!! Thank goodness!!!

So we have a cool mist humidifier going, vicks plug-ins, baby vicks, his meds. and pedialite for him!!! He seems to be a little better today, not running a fever and he isn't throwing up anymore!!! But you can tell that he doesn't feel good and he just isn't himself!!! He just lays there and screams if you're not holding him, but right when you pick him up he's out like a light, poor baby!!!

Anyways, All he needs is to be in his mama's arms and he seems a million time better!!! It makes me feel really really good!!!
